TRUST FROM THE PAST TO THE PRESENT

PIA Acrylic was established through a major partnership between Turkish Işık Plastik and American Plaskolite, two of the world’s leading industrial sheet manufacturers. In December 2021, Sirius Plastik acquired all of Plaskolite’s shares, making PIA Acrylic a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sirius Plastik. Sirius Plastik is owned by the Çeker family, which also holds a majority stake in Işık Plastik, Turkey’s leading producer of thermoplastic and engineering plastic products. Işık Plastik went public on the Borsa İstanbul in January 2021, with approximately 20% of the shares being subscribed by the 2 million investors trading on the exchange. Launched in early 2016 with a factory established in the Malatya Organized Industrial Zone, PIA set out on a mission to become the leading producer of “Cast Acrylic” both domestically and internationally. With its state-of-the-art machinery, the investment and financial strength of domestic capital, and a factory spanning 26,326 square meters, PIA aims to become the industry’s strongest solution partner.
